One thing that bugs me about windows 8 is I have 2 screens I have to get pass to get to my desktop.  First the splash screen, or whatever its called, then the login screen.  Well I just found out by accident that if you click on the spacebar, that will execute the ‘slide open’ function to get you to the log in.  Still annoying I have to even do that, but way better then using the swipe function I used at the beginning.

What I would really like to see if the login screen and the welcome screen combined so I do not even need to swipe nor click, but I expect when microsoft fully release win8, there will be some sort of option, else I know someone will write a hack to take care of it.
