Virtual City is a new iphone/ ipad game that is basically a take off of SimCity.  However, if you look at the video, it looks way more detailed.  The app is not out yet, scheduled for mid June.

From watching the video, it looks pretty interesting and you can see people walking around. The normal simcity like stuff, policy setting, taxes, providing the citizens with entertainment, etc..  Whats different is the building gifs are nicer and the user interface ‘seems’ more user friendly.  HOWEVER, in all the animations I saw, there did not seem to be way to zoom completely out.  And this could be a fail for me. One of the things I like to do with simcity is zoom back and look over the city as a whole.
