\"\"<\/a>I finally got around to jailbreaking <\/a>my iphone4 running iOS 5.1.1.\u00a0 I used Absinthe 2.0.2 for windows.\u00a0 It went well enough till it locked up on me.\u00a0 I ran it again and this time got this error.<\/p>\n

Could not connect to lockdown<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a similar error called lockdown error -5.\u00a0 Both errors are really nothing more then timeout errors.\u00a0 I would expect that in time\u00a0GreenPois0n will resolve this, but for now the fix is really easy.\u00a0 FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!\u00a0 Yes, I missed this step because I did not think I had that much on my iphone, guess I was wrong.\u00a0\u00a0 So make sure you do the following..<\/p>\n

1. Make a backup of your device in iTunes by right clicking on your device name under the \u2018Devices\u2019 menu and click \u2018Back Up\u2019.<\/p>\n

2. Once your backup is complete return to your device and go to Settings \u2013 General \u2013 Reset \u2013 Erase all Content and Settings<\/em>. This will make the jailbreak process much faster.<\/p>\n

Once I did this, it was a very smooth process.\u00a0 BTW, be patient.\u00a0 It take time to restore from the backup.\u00a0 Much longer then I thought.<\/p>\n
