Its kind of a shame really.\u00a0 Although once I read the specs and saw the mock ups, I know this would not fly, but it would have been interesting just to see.\u00a0 The idea of a two screen slate is intriguing to say the least.<\/p>\n

The Courier is dead<\/p><\/div>\n

But Microsoft finally owned up to building one and owned up to dropping it.\u00a0 Now that does not mean they are give up on the tablet war, it could be a tactical retreat given the success of and lesson learned from the iPad.\u00a0 Also, the last I heard HP was going to use windows 7 on their slate, but with the purchase of Palm yesterday, now I’m not so sure.<\/p>\n

But one thing is for certain, the great tablet war has taken its first major victim, and that its Microsoft is not a big surprise.<\/p>\n
