Since I consider FM and cassette simply unacceptable (and yes I have tried both) it was worth it to me to try and port into the CD changer. \u00a0And it was easier then I expected. \u00a0First the adaptor.\u00a0Its just a short cable, with a plug for the CD changer in on one end, and a RCA or 1\/8&#8243; jack on the other.<\/p>\n<p>Override the CD changer! Get an adaptor cable, try\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizrate.com\/caraccessories\/oid482185986__nwylf--.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.installer.com\/adapt.html\" target=\"_blank\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may have to look for your particular stereo, but you get the idea. \u00a0Once in place, you can still use your front load CD player (which I have not used in 6 months) as well as your iphone\/ipod. \u00a0Now here is the plus. \u00a0You also have an in car hands free! \u00a0All you need is one more piece of the puzzle. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1221\" title=\"isonitalk\" src=\"https:\/\/www.perivision.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/isonitalk.jpg\" alt=\"isonitalk\" width=\"350\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.perivision.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/isonitalk.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.perivision.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/03\/isonitalk-300x192.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/>A mic with headphone plug. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.monstercable.com\/productdisplay.asp?pin=4571\" target=\"_blank\">Get one here..<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And there you go. \u00a0Now if you do not feel comfortable doing this work yourself, there are plenty of car radio places out there that can do it for. \u00a0Who knows?
