I appreciate your article on getting lat and longs on non-gps iphones and ipods though.
xGPS looks promising. Using a first generation aka 2G iPhone and Bluetooth to connect to a gps device would be slick as well. Then I could use a gps with a strong antenna in my car and log my travels with my iphone or iPod Touch.
