I dont know about that. I'm not a 'real' cyclist, but my 'training rides' ( just to keep me in shape ) are normally an 45 min to and hour. But then again, I always have lots of hill climbs in my ride. You can extend you ride by simply adding a battery or ( as I do) keep the display very low. I have done a 2 hour that way and the battery held up fine.—
